Pet care experience
I volunteered at animal shelter all throughout high school. There I learned the in's-and-out's of proper pet care, including how to walk dogs properly, how to administer medication, and the behaviors of all sorts of breeds. Since then I have done pet sitting on a free lance basis, and I have adopted a wonderful English Spot rabbit named Barnaby Von Fluffball!

This is our 3rd time having Meghan catsit for us! She’s always communicative and send updates and photos and leaves the house nice and clean. Will definitely keep coming back for future trips- highly recommend!
This is our second time having Meghan cat/house sit for us. She is very responsive, keeps us updated with pictures throughout her stay and leaves the apartment clean and tidy. We will continue to go back to Meghan in the future!
Megan was great! She kept us updated throughout the weekend with notes and pictures and we came back to a clean house and well loved kitten! This was our first time having a pet sitter and Megan made it an easy and positive experience and we’ll definitely reach out for the next time we go away and hopefully she’ll be available!
Meghan has been an animal lover since the time she could walk. She is extremely patient with animals and is able to care for them and meet their needs regardless of how intense those needs are. She has volunteered for years at an animal shelter and has taken home several elderly dogs with special needs (one was blind and deaf) so that the dogs could have a stable home environment for the remainder of their lives. She considers all pets to be special and treats them like royalty. I highly recommend you consider Meghan for your company, you will have a kind, caring and highly motivated employee who will treat someone's pet as if they are a part of her family.

I love creating fun enrichment activities for animals — some of my favorites include freezing treats in ice for hot summer days, creating toys out of materials like toilet paper rolls, and of course, traditional play with your animal’s favorite toys.
