Pet care experience
I've never met a stranger, particularly of the furry variety. Attentive and compassionate care is the only kind of care I provide for my own pets and I certainly look forward to doing the same for yours! From big to small, puppies to senior dogs, I have experience with them all and treat them with love and patience regardless. Even in the last few months of my senior dog's (Lucy, my 16 year old black lab) life, I still carried her outside when she couldn't get up and down the steps and couldn't remember where she was to come back in. If you're looking for someone to provide mindful care customized to your pet's needs AND treat them like part of the family, I'm here to help!

Meghan house sat for us while we were out of town for a long weekend. She was very communicative and sent lots of photos and videos of our two pets, which we loved, and somehow left our house cleaner than it was when we left. We would definitely work with her again!
Meghan was awesome!! So glad we met through rover! She watched our 2 pups at our house while we were out of town for 3 nights. She sent daily updates & photos & was very responsive, we felt very comfortable leaving our pups with her & it was nice for them to be in their own home. Thanks Meghan!
Meghan is an amazing sitter! She stayed at our house over thanksgiving and took great care of our dog and senior cat. She kept us updated and sent photos every day. The pets absolutelyloved her and we would have Meghan take care of them again in a heartbeat. Don’t hesitate to hire her!
Meghan was so sweet and accommodating when I needed my dogs to be watched last minute! Literally she only had 12 hours notice and she was awesome! She sent picture updates and was so kind to my dogs! Will definitely use her again if I am ever in the area!

I’m open to doing whatever I can to make sure your pup/cat is comfortable and safe. If that means free roam of the house, great. If crating makes them feel less anxious...perfect! I’d rather compromise on my own routine a bit if it means a more relaxed pet 😊

A typical day
For the active dog: I love taking excursions with pups! Other than following your pup's everyday routine, I try to schedule in daily field trips to local stores & parks. Favorite parks include the local park in Canton, the dog park in Waynesville for the pups to run around or the French Broad River park (which also happens to have a dog park for large & small dogs as well). Visits to local pet-friendly stores also included! Garden centers, farm/feed stores, nature centers, Petsmart, Patton Avenue Pet Company stores...you name it!! For the laid-back or shy dog: We can still take excursions of course! But if that's overwhelming or if your pup isn't into it, we can certainly have plenty of fun at home! Playing with toys or just sitting on the couch watching Netflix, whatever ensures that your pooch is as comfortable as possible!
