I have a large back yard with a high fence. There is plenty of room for my two large dogs to run and play. My pups are very people friendly, and mostly friendly to other dogs. I have one dog who can be unpredictable, but I have never had an incident at my own home. He feels safe there and isn’t territorial. The only disagreements he has had with other dogs have been in public spaces when he has been ganged up on, so you can’t really blame him. Just to be on the safe side, I would appreciate a supervised first visit to ensure the safety of our pets if a home stay is necessary. I also have a cat who is dog tolerant. There are a few parks around where I live, and plenty of paved sidewalks that are in safe neighborhoods for walking.
