I have always had a love for animals and a passion for training and pet care. I have worked as an kennel associate at Almost Home Boarding and Training for a year and a half, helping with doggy daycare and overnight boarding. I have worked and volunteered with the Kentucky Humane Society for two years, assisting in adoptions and general care (feeding, bathing, cleaning cages, dispensing medications) of dogs and cats. I have also fostered dogs in my home for over 4 years through Southern Indiana Animal Rescue. Through my experiences, I have gained knowledge in feeding, bathing, dispensing medications (including pills, liquids and insulin injections), as well as behavioral training and basic commands (sit, stay, come, walking on a leash, jumping) through positive reinforcement and clicker training.
