My husband, son and I are passionate about dogs. We love having visitors and our bed is NOT off limits same with our couches, chairs multiple dog beds. Our little chihuahua Biggie Smalls loves to meet new friends of any variety, he’s down to hang out. He’s assertive, can handle friends of all sizes. Brutus our rescue Italian greyhound had two surgeries to remove his badly damaged teeth due to his neglect before he came to us (puppy mill stud for 7 years 🥺.) He was fearful and panicked at first, loving and carefree when he passed after 5 years with us. Popeye was a runt and was shunned by his mother and litter mates I rescued him in 2005. He was too small to contend with his littermates and eventually rejected by his mother. He was dying. No one thought he would make it. I fed him formula from a syringe and gave him my best effort. He had a few seizures early in life but preserved amd grew into a spry old dog loved by all who knew him.we saved each-other. I met my husband Jon 6 months after saving Popeye. We were a family for 16 years reaching Brutus, welcoming our child. Many years of love. He left us Sept 2, 2021. Our son Crosby loves animals. His daily chores include watering the dogs. He loves to care for them. He is respectful and kind to all living things. We have to warn him when our visitors are going to get picked up. He always wants to give goodbye loves. My husband is a dog lover as well-he cuddles them almost more than me. Dogs are crated while we are away for safety. Our dogs hang out in thier open kennels if they just need to get away for a few. Kennels are off limits to all hands. No one bothers them if they choose to go there. Safe place. I am caring and its suggested to me all the time that I get a job where I work with animals. So when I saw this site I decided to try it out. It's been one of the best things I’ve ever done. We get to help people enjoy their time away from their pets by loving on their dogs and sending updates. The dogs don’t have to be in a loud, shiny, cold kennel. It’s gives us great satisfaction to be able to earn a bit of extra money in such a rewarding way all around. I do home visits for rescue groups to place foster dogs. I’m a huge fan of rescue. HUGE.
