We are a family with a two-year old who absolutely adores dogs. We have a dog at home as well and they are always playing. Even though our dog is large (70 lbs) our daughter loves her, so she will for sure love your dog as well. We will go out for walks or hikes with your dog and spend time playing with your dog inside as well. I have been taking care of dogs my whole life. I am from Alaska, where my family and I had a dog team and went mushing, but the dogs weren't just working dogs, they were also our pets and part of our family. I learned how to train dogs and take care of them, and they were definitely some of my best friends growing up. Now, my husband, daughter, and I have a black lab and she is about 3 years old. We take her out for walks daily and play with her inside often. I would love to take care of another dog for a while, either for a day, for a week, or even longer, as long as we are available.
