Pet care experience
For several years, I managed a free-range dog boarding facility in Colorado and I loved it. I loved learning the individual personalities of our regulars and watching the dogs' excitement to come to us. While there, I had an opportunity to learn dog obediance training so when I left the facility to start nursing school, I continued to train dogs on the weekends. I find great joy and humor in a dog who's having a great time. Be it sleeping in a sunny spot, tramping through the mud with me, or smelling smells on a nice walk through the park; my favorite times are with a dog by my side. It is an honor, really, to be able to show a dog some of the good things in our world.

Megan was so good with our Labradoodle Scooby. She treated him like her own! He got 2 walks a day and he enjoyed hanging out with her dog Max. Scooby was right at home playing with Max’s toys, enjoying his homemade dog treats and even sitting on the couch! Megan will always be our first choice to dogsit our pup!
Megan is a wonderful pet owner, she has the most well trained and behaved dog I have ever encountered. She goes above and beyond for her fur baby. She has watched my two pups several times and they always love her more by the end of our vacation. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
Megan is the bomb. Her highness, Queen Eleanor of the family Golden, loves Megan perhaps more than her own family. We can't even say her name without Eleanor getting all excited and forgiving us for the suitcases at the front door. Honestly the best dog sitter you could ask for. Book her. Just not when we need her. Seriously.
Megan is a wonderful dog caregiver! She is very responsible always tending to the needs of the dogs she cares for with such kindness. She understands dogs in a way I have never seen. She loves dogs and they love her! She has watched my two dogs on several occasions, always follows my instructions as to how to feed and their daily routines. She is very intuitive and can sense when one of them needs some extra loving. My dogs recognize her now and just love her. I always feel so much better when I’m away knowing Megan will be caring for my dogs. She is a dog’s best friend!

A typical day
My fenced backyard butts up against a large city park providing easy access to paved walkways and plenty of greenspace for older or shy dogs. More adventurous dogs, like my own, will be entertained on wooded hikes and in cool swimming holes (on hot days only of course).
