I became the owner of my first dog on my third birthday, against my mothers preference because I wouldn't settle for anything other than one. I was showing horses in showmanship and western riding by the time I was 13. I had rescued and released back into the wild a squirrel by the time I was 19 ( and have footage to prove it.) I have almost saved 2 baby birds that had fallen from seperate nests. (Those things are so hard to rescue!!!) I have been referred to as Ellie May from the Beverly Hillbillies because of my inclination toward the animal kingdom. I used to participate in 4H. I currently own an amazingly for her age healthy Beagle named Jessie who is 15 and still goes on walks with me almost every day and I have a cat named Velvet. I only work temporary jobs at the moment in order to focus on my 8 year old as much as possible so I'm very flexible. I also love hiking, and pretty much anything outdoors so pet watching is something I do everyday anyway. I have a fenced in yard and garden that I'm creating so I'm always taking care of something out there. My cat is free to go outside and rarely jumps the fence. I let both pets eat and drink as much food as they want and pretty much allow them every liberty they could possibly want within the confines of city ordinance. I believe in a free reign atmosphere for my pets but I'm definitely able and willing to abide by any terms or conditions other pet parents may set and completely understand every case can be different and treated accordingly.
