I have taken care of a variety of dogs and cats in the past 15 years. I have raised 3 dogs of my own. Now, I am caring for my 12 year old and 3 year old dogs. My love for my own dogs passes onto those who come into my care. Animals are a part of the family! Boardings: *We take one family at a time. I have an acre of land for dogs to play around. I have long leashes if they prefer to hang outside with me. My household also has two dogs. One is a Chiweenie (12 years old) and the other is a Red Heeler (3 years old). My youngest loves to play, if your dog enjoys playing too. We do have crates, if they need a their own space.

Megan took such great care of our pets and sent us photos of each visit. Our kids loved seeing how the pets were and we laughed so hard at how she captured some of their silly personalities. It was so refreshing to know they were taken care of. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing they were being cared for and safe.
Megan helped me out at the last minute when she dropped in for 3 visits to feed my 2 cats. She kept me well informed. Thanks Megan!

We leash dogs when we take them outside for potty. If I am working outside, I have long leashes available. This will allow dog(s) to roam a bit, but still safe and in view.

The information that is important to know is if your dog has allergies (foods, certain air particles), needs medicine taken at certain times, is more susceptible to seizures or other health events, and has recent surgery. Also, what vet your dog goes to and, if emergency, your dog can go to the emergency vet near our home.
A typical day
With my dogs, I enjoy going for walks and hiking. We will also visit the lake, play fetch, or relax outside. On our porch, we have a kiddy pool to help our dogs keep cool in the summer.
