I laid out everything that would be needed on the kitchen counter for Megan: premeasured food, medication, spare collars and leashes, and brand new toys. When I returned four days later, only the food had been touched. The medication, despite reminders to Megan, contained the same level of pills it did when I left. The toys still had their tags on and were in the same position as where they were left. When I looked around further, it appeared as if Megan had not stayed in our home as she was supposed to per our Housesitting booking. The vacuum lines from my previous cleaning were untouched in the bedroom, as were the sheets, and only a few empty cans of Dr.Pepper were in the trash bin. The reason this is so upsetting is that I had to rush my dog to the emergency vet shortly after getting home. There was a blockage, but the surgeon stated that too much of his intestinal tract had already died to complete the procedure. He died after spending four days without so much as toys and a questionable amount of care and attention. I cannot in good conscience recommend Megan to anyone after losing a pet due to her neglect.

Megan was an absolute lifesaver for us and our Rosie during the deep freeze in TX. She was so highly communicative and flexible when our flights were canceled for several days straight. Going above and beyond, she also pulled in all our plants from outside, made sure our taps were draining, and took Rosie to a place with heat when our home lost power. Would highly recommend Megan!
