Growing up in a rural area, I was taught that animals have as much capacity for thoughts and feelings as humans. My parents and grandparents rescued every stray that was dumped near our house. They never turned one away. As I grew older, that feeling never dissolved. I love walking the pups at the animal shelter and I was always the first one my Aunt would call to watch her animals (one dog, three cats) when she was called away on week long business trips. I now have a rambunctious mini husky to call my own, and she is my furbaby. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. If I can alleviate some of the stresses you feel while being away from your furbaby, my job is worth it. There's nothing worse than the uncertainty you feel when leaving a member of your family with a complete stranger. I hope to do my part to make my little corner of the world a happier place to be. ❤
