Hi there! My name is Meg, I'm 22 years old and have been working with animals my entire life. Growing up my mother worked as a vet technician for both household pets, and many different zoos. From age 13, I began volunteering with my mother at many different animal/pet related organizations including wildlife rehabilitation, humane societies, adoption events, and other places similar to the old dog Haven. I have worked at many natural pet food and care shops, which has given me extensive knowledge on animal health, as well as many natural solutions to health issues. I love educating people on natural remedies, food, overall care, and the benefits that you can see from that type of change. Currently I'm in college, and as much as I would love to have a dog of my own, I know that I would not be able to give them the love and care required 24/7- which is why I'm signing up for dog walking and sitting. Long side of my above-listed experience, I have also been dog walking, an animal sitting since I was 14. I'm very well known in my neighborhood 4 pup sitting and walking, so I can provide many references of past/current/repeating owners. One of my favorite things about walking and watching pups is that it gives me the motivation to go do things such as going to the beach, the park, hikes, and whatever else comes to mind. My main goal wow spending time and caring someone's furry friend is to make my new friend as happy as they make me for the amount of time we're together. (All dogs and pets make me happy, so I would love to pass along the smiles) Since I have worked in natural petcare, and my mother was a vet technician, I am quick to notice and potentially solve (if possible) any health issues, using natural remedies; that being said, not everything can be solved naturally, and communication in between myself and our furry friends owner is incredibly important. I would never attempt to solve any kind of issue or give new treats / food without the owner's consent, as that can cause issues with certain fuzzy companions. On top of being able to quickly notice potential health issues and possible resolutions, I'm also a great resource for learning about new foods, vitamins/supplements, toys, leashes/harnesses + walking techniques, and treats to further benifit the overall happiness, health, and longevity of your companion; I love teaching people how to have the best relationship with your pet, and how they can live a longer, happier , comfortable, and healthy life!
