Pet care experience
Dogs who stay with me will receive complementary pick up/drop off in order to enhance their stay with me. It gives them a sense of adventure over abandonment when you leave. I've always had dogs, and I've dealt with blind dogs, and dogs with diabetes. When they stay with me at my home, they will require lower maintenance due to my chronic illness and energy levels. I am comfortable administering insulin and remaining calm and taking necessary measures during insulin reactions should they occur. I have some experience with training and excel at teaching necessary commands and etiquette. For extra compensation, I can provide basic dog massages and grooming such as baths, and brushing! But I will freely take pictures of pets and will gladly send a myriad of photos of your baby. I appreciate honesty about your pet's habits, needs, fears, and aggressions. If I'm walking, I do require good walking manners or some form of restraint ( no prong collars, please) I have experience with all types of animals and demeanors, dogs with anxiety, aggression, fear, high energy, and your pet's safety and needs are my top priority.

Megan was a lifesaver helping us at the last minute. And not for the first time. She is ultra reliable and considerate to watch our energetic dog. If it weren’t for her running him every day he would have chewed through a table leg or couch. Thank you Megan!
Megan was great. Everything turned out just as planed. One of my kitties is pretty shy, but by the time I got home they were all friends. I unexpectedly had to add an extra day to our contract and there was no problem with it at all.
Megan was great with our 2 cats and lizard. She arrived each day at the time discussed and sent pictures of our pets every day. She took very good notes and asked a lot of questions during our meet and greet and she made me feel confident that our pets would be well taken care of while we were gone.

The shortest point of my fence is 4', so jumper/escape artists are not permitted. Property destruction tendencies such as chewing, digging, scratching will not be tolerated. I prefer dogs who can be crated for the times where I need to leave the house, but if they don't crate, they will be locked in my bedroom instead. Dogs have mostly free reign at my house unless owner specifies. They are allowed on our couch and are welcome to sleep with us if they are good!

Otherwise, I may require compensation for property damage. If your dog has barking tendencies, please disclose details. Please send me documentation/have tags for updated shots.
A typical day
I have a large backyard that is great for fetch, chase, wrestling, tug, and lounging! They'll never be home alone more 6 hours, but they'll get let outside typically every 2 hours. My house consists of dog lovers, so your pups will get all the attention and belly rubs they could ask for, and my street has next to no traffic making it relatively quiet. They will not go on walks around my neighborhood though.

Currently, I am working from home, and I'm here most of the day. However, that will change soon and I will be working part-time away from the house.
