Dogs are amazing and deserve the world. So often, we struggle to make plans because we don't want to leave our pups. I, myself, have struggled to commit to plans because I wanted to make sure my best mates had just as much, if not more, fun than me. Take the trip! I commit to making sure your pup is safe and has an adventure as memorable as yours. This is our full time job. I have had a passion for dogs ever since I can remember. We have 2 friendly & spoiled dogs with a ridiculous number of balls and toys. Our home has a large, fenced yard just outside of town. Our dogs live in the house with us and sleep in our room. Your dog will truly be on vacation while you are enjoying yours. I send lots and lots of quality pictures throughout the day. I know how reassuring it is to see that you pup is having the best time. Dog care, health, and safety is our priority. We are fully licensed by the state of Iowa (which is a rare find in the Rover world). This means we are subject to random inspections by the state and annual re-licensing. We are fully insured. We require all dogs to have rabies, bordatella, distemper, and parvo vaccinations. We cannot accept intact males over 6 months. I cannot accept pups with an aggressive background. As much as I would love to help those pups out, it takes time and resources away from the other pups staying. We have excellent places in the area better suited to help pups with behavioral challenges. Boarding: Pack extra food and medications in the event you have a travel delay. Bring as much your pup needs to feel comfortable. Items may include, but are not limited to, dog bed, a blanket that smells like home, crates, and favorite toys. We have space and know it is important for your pup to feel as at home as possible. Daycare is included in the boarding price. Dogs boarding will be with the daycare groups as it is appropriate for the dog. I have a pack style daycare and boarding meaning dogs of all sizes mingle safely.

I am blown away by the commitment and dedication to taking care of not only my dog, but all the dogs in that environment. I received numerous photos which I thoroughly enjoyed. Megan really went above and beyond. There’s no doubt in my mind that we will be coming back here again. I cannot recommend it more.
Megan sent lots of photos during my dogs stay and he (along with the other dogs) were always having a great time. Megan is personable and professional and my dog immediately trusted her. I'll be using Megan again in the future certainly.

I understand consistency in a dogs life is important, especially when training a puppy or adopting a new dog into your family. I will work to maintain consistency while in my care (i.e. sitting before coming inside, tricks before treats or food, furniture restrictions, commands, undesirable behaviors you don't want reinforced). I have no breed restrictions and do not discriminate based on breed Helpful information (Some owners provide a care sheet - optional): Potty break schedule Feeding schedule/amount Medication(s) needed & schedule Special needs or requests Routine Situations where your pup may be a diva, gets scared/anxiety, etc and how I can help Naughty behaviors you are working on House broke (please be honest so we can keep your pup successful) Play style and/or favorite toys Every dog has their own personality. That's what make them special to us. Providing as much information as possible will help me give your dog the best care and keep them safe.
A typical day
If your dog likes tug, I'm an expert. My dogs will even join in. If your dog is relentless in playing fetch (like mine) I got it. Typical days, feeding in the morning with a break for digestion as I do pick ups. Then play time with a nap around noon. Dogs needing lunch are fed before nap time. Playtime untill daycare ends and drop offs are taken home. Boarding dogs eat and can either relax for the evening or play some more with the additional summer light!

This is our full time career. So we are home with the pups offering daycare Monday - Saturday. And still plently of play time for boarding dogs on Sunday. Boarding is 24 hour pricing. Dogs arriving in the morning and being picked up at the end of the day are subject to adding daycare for that final day. I will discuss at booking - no surprises at pick up.
