Pet care experience
I have loved dogs since I was a little girl and have been asking for one since I could speak. While I have never had my own dog, I was the main source of dog sitting/walking for my neighbors and family friends growing up. I have now been using Rover for a few years--on and off through college, and more consistently since the pandemic--through which I have gained considerable experience and established an excellent reputation as a pet care provider. I believe pets are part of the family, and I will treat your pets as if they were members of my own. I very much appreciate the opportunity to care for your dog(s), and I look forward to potentially doing so!

Megan does a fantastic job- very reliable, professional, & great communication. Easily built a relationship with my anxious dog.

Megan has been fantastic! She's come to take my dogs for walks a few times while I've been at work for long days and I always come home to happy pups!

Your pets will be adored and meticulously cared for in your absence. I will follow all care instructions provided. I aim to keep their "day-to-day" as normal as possible and ensure your pets are comfortable in your absence. I have experience with many differently-tempered dogs, from runners and escape artists to incredibly shy or more aggressive dogs. Given this range of experience, my pet care style tends to be more cautious. For example, I prefer to keep dogs leashed (unless there is a fenced-in yard), and I tend to avoid other dogs and strangers while on walks, even with the friendliest dogs, just out of an abundance of caution. Most importantly, though, I will love your pets like they're my own!
Information Megan T. would like to know about your pet
I require meet and greets before accepting/confirming bookings. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause; I want to ensure that your pets are comfortable with me and that it would be a good fit. Thank you!
A typical day
In addition to nice, long walks, your dog(s) can look forward to lots of playtime, loads of snuggles and pets/scratches, and plenty of treats (within the limits of what they’re allowed to have, of course)!

Availability
I am a 4th-year graduate student and Ph.D. candidate (in neuroscience), so I spend most of my day on campus (UNE- Biddeford) running experiments. My schedule can be quite unpredictable, which, while providing some flexibility, makes scheduling mid-day visits a little complicated. There are definitely days when I can run out for a quick walk, and I love the break that it provides (I mean, who doesn't want to give some midafternoon pets to good boys and girls), but there are other days when I physically cannot leave campus. Therefore, generally speaking, I would not be a great match for pets who cannot be left alone for more than a few hours at a time. I know my schedule can be quite complicated, especially compared to other providers in the area, but I would love to help care for your pets whenever I'm available to do so. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you are in need of pet care (either now or in the future); I would be more than happy to discuss the specifics of my availability and work on a case-by-case basis to find a way to help you and your pets out!
