Ruff! Meow! On/Off Base Services!

Pet care experience

Hello! I have had both dogs and cats my entire life and I thoroughly enjoy caring for animals as well as training dogs. I also have a lovely holland lop bunny! I have a bachelors degree in biology where I focused on animal, wildlife, and ecology related courses. My work experience includes being a kennel technician at two animal shelters with 4 years of kennel experience. My experience includes caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, farm animals, feeding, medicating orally, walking, training, grooming/baths, and of course cleaning up after their messes! I have experience caring for and working with aggressive dogs, pets who are deaf, blind, seniors, and mobile restrictions. I am also a high school biology teacher and have summers and holidays off to provide additional services to your pets! I offer pet sitting services, basic training, walking, and giving baths to dogs. Typically I give walks during daylight hours, any day of the week. Drop in visits include checking in for thirty minutes several times a day (how often is up to you) to check on the pet, feed, water, give potty breaks, and play with the dog, cat, bunnies or all! I also offer doggy day care, boarding, and over night stays at my home. You can bring your dog by my house while you are at work or away from home! Your pooch will be provided with constant care and play time including going on walks while staying with me. This is a great option if your dog has separation anxiety, needs special care, or frequent potty breaks while you are away. I am able to send daily photo and video updates to you if you would like. You also have the option of adding a bath, and or a walk to the drop in visits. If you have any special requests or needs with feeding, medications, treat/toy restrictions, walking, or bathing feel free to let me know! I am very flexible and try to respond to questions as quickly as possible. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pets soon!

This will be the third time that we are trusting Megan with our fur baby! She has been so great at her job that we just keep asking her to take care of our Golden Retriever 💛. She is so profesional, easy to comunicate with, take care of details and moat importantly understandable that she is a A+. 100% recommended for sure.

As always, Megan did a fantastic job with my two cats! She was even able to come for an additional visit last minute when I wasn’t able to make it home on time. I’d highly recommend Megan to anyone in need of a caring, friendly sitter who pays attention to detail, follows instructions to a T, and is flexible.

Safety, trust & environment

I have experience working with pets who are not friendly towards other animals or even people. If your pet is in need of special accommodations regarding maintaining distance from other dogs/animals I can be sure that your needs are met. Pet and human safety is my utmost priority and we can find a suitable solution to caring for your pet while you are away. I also have experience working with senior animals and pets with special needs. If you have a blind or mobile restricted pet I am happy to make additional visits to your home where your pet is most comfortable and familiar with their environment. If your would prefer for your pet to stay at my home we can set up our home to be safe for them. I have also worked with deaf dogs and I am familiar with commonly used dog sign language to help communicate with and accommodate your pet. If your pets have any medical needs please share that information with me and I will be happy to administer/provide medications for your pet.

Information Megan S. would like to know about your pet

I have no breed preferences! Please let me know the temperament/personality of your pet, do they like/dislike other dogs, cats, or small children? Do they have special instructions for medications, feeding, or exercise? Any treat or toy restrictions? Provide any other useful information you would like me to know when caring for your pet.

A typical day

Your pets typical day with me would vary depending on the pet but may include the following: breakfast, a morning walk through the neighborhood or potty break in the fenced in back yard. Play time with my two dogs or one on one play time and socialization with me inside our home. Snuggle sessions on the couch followed by treats and mind stimulation with a mini training/trick session. Dinner will be served followed by an evening stroll around the neighborhood. Pets are welcome to sleep in the master bedroom with us or where ever they feel most comfortable. :)
