Megan held the fort down while we were off to even colder country - but it was a chilly 14 degrees here! She was attentive to taking care of Zeke and regularly communicated. Thanks Megan!

Megan appeared very nice and caring upon meeting her. Unfortunately, our house sitting experience did not reflect our first time meeting. Megan had an unauthorized/unknown male in our home while house sitting. She never asked if it was okay to have anyone there with her. Megan lied about how long the dogs had been alone, and when confronted about it - lied again about it. Our house smelled terrible upon getting home. After walking through the house there were a minimum of 6 dried pee spots, she also cleaned up urine before we got home. Our dogs chewed up the couch. Accidents happen, but destructive behavior is very unusual for our dogs unless left alone for a very long time. There were also bags of dog poop left in our garage (trash cans are located outside of the house and garage is used as storage so there was no reason to be in there). The swinging front door was also off the hinge, which can only be done if the bolt is pulled out of the door? Overall, we had wished for a smooth stay with Megan and had hoped to be able to use her in the future, but that is not the case. We will never use her again.
