Pet care experience
Pet sitting has always been something I’ve enjoyed! I get to spoil, cuddle, play with, love on, and care for dogs and cats that aren’t my own. I’ve had numerous families over the past 15 yrs. I’ve even had the opportunity to travel out of state to care for a senior dog and a diabetic dog where I had to administer daily shots! There’s no bond like that with your animal. I promise to treat yours as if they were my own!

Thank you Megan for everything you did. I was super hesitant to have someone stay 3-4 nights at my house with my cats my biggest worry was them getting out they can be escape artist , and my cats can be difficult at times, but she handled everything professionally and well. She communicated with me daily to let me know what was going on. I was able to enjoy my vacation with my family without worrying and I came home to a clean house, clean liter boxes and happy and fed cats. I really appreciate you and will be contacting again in the future if needed. Thank you so much again! 5 stars :)
Megan was wonderful! She kept me updated with lots of details each drop in. Listened and answered any questions or unnecessarily concerns this crazy dog mom had. I loved seeing the pictures of my happy fur babies while she was there. My dog Rossi is my whole world and I was hesitant using this app for the first time. Megan made a awesome first experience with Roover for me and my family! Thank you again for making me feel so comfortable leaving my fur babies in someone else’s hands while I couldn’t be there!

I would need to know if your pet is sensitive to heat, any meds, specific commands they know, certain behaviors, what to be aware/cautious of, if they take flea/heart guard meds monthly, if they are able to be picked up/prefer not to be picked up, sensitive to places such as ears, paws, feeding routines, bathroom routines, etc. I also need to know if your dog has been around cats and other dogs.
A typical day
I enjoy going on walks with furry friends, playing fetch, cuddling and lounging, and talking the “animal talk.” I love giving attention and petting, getting energy out, going for rides. This is all of course dependent on the needs of your pet!

Availability
I work in Louisville at a private school from 8-4 with meetings after school sometimes so I’m mostly available on weekends. I do live in Lexington so I have an hour and a half drive each way for now. If your pet is ok with holding it for that long, I can possibly help during the week some. This is to be considered when planning potty breaks, walks, feeding routines, etc. Weekends are typically flexible.
