We originally booked Megan for 4 days of dog watching. My wife and I were in Branson, Mo. seeing shows so her timeliness was pretty important. For the first two days, she was 15 minutes late each time. We made it to both our shows on time but it was close. On the 3rd day, she sent a text to indicate that she had overslept and would be at least 30 minutes late, which would clearly make us late to our show. We immediately cancelled her for the last two stays. It was pretty clear that we could not rely on her.

I have mixed feedback for our experience. Megan met our dogs a few weeks before our trip and they immediately liked her which put us both at ease. We do have one dog that can be a little aggressive when meeting new people and he immediately liked her. During our trip, she did keep in touch and sent pictures and we appreciated that. I had left detailed written instructions - all things which we had discussed during our meet/greet. One of these things was that, due to his years in a puppy mill, one of our small dogs is not well house trained and will pee everywhere when I am not at home. He also “leaks” at night. He wears diapers which I left out but were not used . Since returning home, I have cleaned up around 15 different spots where he has urinated on our hard floors and the carpet in one room will need to be cleaned. In addition, the litter boxes for our indoor cats were quite dirty. I had asked that they were scooped each morning but it did not seem that they had been scooped for at least two days. The trash was crammed full and did not appear to have been taken out all week. The kitchen sink had dried food stuck all inside. The house just smelled like garbage and pee. We weren’t happy with the condition of the house as we had left it very clean and expected it to be left in the same condition.
