Pet care experience
I have a flexible schedule and have lived with dogs (family dogs included the following breeds, English springer spaniel, Cockapoo, Chihuahua, Pitbull, and Irish setter) and cats my whole life! I have house sat and cared for dogs and cats ranging from puppies and kittens to seasoned seniors. I love to play, give belly rubs, praise, cuddles, and long walks to tire out energetic pups! On walks, I am happy to stick to a specific route, or I can switch it up daily. I am a wiz in the kitchen and I am more than happy to prepare your beloved pooch or kitty's breakfast, lunch, or dinner and give any medications if needed! I have known Megan for many years. Besides having a beautiful Irish Setter of her own, she has taken care of my golden retrievers and now my black lab at my home many, many times, sometimes for a day and other times overnight stays. The dogs respond to her and enjoy being with her. You can tell she loves animals. Megan is a physically fit, intelligent individual and is very conscientious and trustworthy. I would highly recommend her services to anyone!
Caring and enthusiastic, Megan will be the perfect companion to your pooch! While my senior dog rests more these days, Megan and I get out regularly with her energetic Irish Setter and my newborn daughter. On the trail she is mindful of the passerby and her Penny girl is very responsive to Megan’s most subtle cues. Respectful and aware, you are undoubtedly making a quality selection in choosing to trust your fur friend to the nurturance of this sitter!
As a musician, I am often leaving for a few days at a time due to gigs. While traveling can be stressful, choosing who to care for my Cooper is not. Megan is a reliable, caring, and honest dog caregiver and I am always impressed by how well Cooper is cared for. (Sometimes I wonder if he even wants me to come back!) I highly recommend Megan if you are looking for someone who will truly give your dog all the attention they deserve.
