Pet care experience
Besides having had a family dog of my own for my whole life, I also walked dogs for a year in high school, and volunteered at the local animal shelter walking dogs for another, where I learned a lot of useful skills in handling unruly dogs and preventing conflict, as well as how to walk and interact with large and strong dogs. I made it a point while walking at the shelter to encourage good walking manners for all of the dogs, and would be happy to continue training in that area on walks as well.

Meagan was very nice and arrived on time. Our dog loved her and came back happy and tuckered out from their walk. I would rebook with here next time we need another walk or for any other service.
Megan did a great job taking care of our cat. She sent updates and pictures every day.
Megan did a great job with our 6 year old lab mix, Arly. She is often anxious and relies on love, attention, and walks! Megan was able to do all of this and I felt comfortable knowing that she was well taken care of. She sent photo and video updates as well - which was so helpful! I high recommend Megan for your dog sitting needs :)
Megan is great with pets and animals! She's dealt with dogs ranging from shy and gentle to large and rowdy. Her own dog, Daisy, was rescued from a puppy mill that had abused her. Megan had to learn to be gentle and patient with daisy so that she didn't scare her. Megan also handled many large dogs who pulled when she volunteered at an animal shelter that contained many pit bulls and other large dogs. She has experience dog-sitting and loves to hang out with, walk, and take care of animals.

I have two cats at home whom I love very much, but who would not love me if I brought another pet home. That said, I would love to care for yours at their own home! I always make sure to spend a lot of time with your pet while you’re gone, and to leave the house exactly as I found it.

I love all breeds of dog! I’d love to learn about your dog’s temperament and how they interact with other dogs so that I’m prepared to hang out with them, but nothing is a dealbreaker!
A typical day
I will gladly take your dog for a walk around the neighborhood, or if you would prefer we could go to a park instead! My favorite park is longview farms, and if your baby loves other dogs they will make a lot of friends there! If they don’t, I also know plenty of parks with less dogs, where we will have the trail to ourselves. I would also happily take them on their usual walking path if that’s preferred!

I’m in college right now and have afternoon classes, so I’m free in the morning for a drop-in visit or a walk. I can walk in any weather: heat, cold, rain, or shine!
