Other than owning golden retrievers all my life, I spent time volunteering at the SPCA while in college. I walked a variety of breeds with a variety of personalities - energetic, timid, you name it - for two hours a week over the course of a semester. I adore each of the goldens I have had in my life: Summer - who was frightened by thunderstorms, begged at the kitchen table, and would let you pet her for hours on end; Ginger - who was a shy, yet gentle girl with a knack for collecting socks; and Basil - who is a bundle of energy and quirks that make her incredibly unique. Over the years, I have learned how to train, groom, and, overall, take great care of dogs and I will certainly do the same when taking care of your pup.
