Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats in my life since I was very small. I have always been responsible for the care of them. This led me to undertake a job as a kennel/cattery maid at the age of 14. My roles within this job was the well-being and care of up to 50 dogs at one time, and over a 100 cats. I would also have to give medicine, carry out feeding and exercise for all animals. I had this job until I was 18 and came to university. It allowed me to gain lots of experience with all dog breeds and cat breeds. While at university I got my own pet cat, through this I fully understand the responsibility of owning a pet and the care that is required. I would consider myself a responsible, caring and understanding person.

I live in a secure ground floor flat, which has a private garden built into the building. This would be the perfect spot for toilet outings. I also live extremely close to many walking routes and could provide a variety of walks. My own cat goes in and out of my ground floor windows to access the outside, however these could be close if cat sitting.

Availability
I am currently working as a primary school teacher and therefore my weekends are mainly free for animal care. However, during the school holidays I would be available all day/everyday to undertake jobs. During the summer holidays I will be available throughout for animal care.
