I've been in love with animals since birth, and owned a dog (my only sibling) since the age of 4. When asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was always "a Veterinarian or a photographer for National Geographic". I started pet-sitting at the age of 10, because I always liked animals more than children. I'm pretty convinced I was a dog in another life. I have a passion for pet-photography and video. Not only will I love your pet like it's my own, but I'll leave you with incredible photos and video content if you wish, I'll even manage your pet's social media. I go for hikes at least 3+ times per week to keep my sanity, and love a furry companion. I have an uncanny ability and desire to read an animal's needs and desires, and will spend time really getting to know your pet. I respect your desires as a pet-ower as well and will adhere to any disciplinary, grooming or dietary requests. I've cooked meals for, bathed/styled, trained, and exercised animals of all shapes and sizes. I will give your pet endless snuggles and will often find myself talking him/her like a muppet character (if they like that sort of thing).

Megan is absolutely incredible!!! Dog sitting is an understatement....I have never experienced someone who gives daily "pupdates", takes numerous photos capturing the true essence of our dogs, meets and hangs with the neighborhood dogs, explores all local dog parks and new trails, and keeps our home in great shape all the while, truly enjoying everyday that we are away. Is your dog like your child? Does he/she go with you wherever you go? Do you lavish your pup with affection all day, and rarely leave them at home? Do you believe that no one can love your pet the way you do, and dread leaving your little buddy even for a few days? I travel out of the country for one to several months out of the year, and it is hands down the hardest thing to leave my Mister Fox. Enter Megan Pagoda, dog lover of the century. She connected with Mister Fox immediately, and took him on his own mini vacation while I was away. I got daily pupdates with photos and videos featuring Mister Fox on hikes, chasing bubbles, at the beach and all snuggled up. We had Skype sessions so I could see my baby and he could hear my voice. She also updated Mister Fox's Instagram page with all the fab media she created. She even made some new hashtags just for him. I also decided to stay overseas for an entire extra month and Megan agreed to keep Mister Fox as her own for the extra time. Mister Fox made lots of new friends everywhere he went, and I know he has a special bond with Auntie Pogoda. Megan also stayed in my house part time, and left the place spotless! I cannot recommend this rock star doggie empath's services enough. Thank you, Megan!!
Megan is one of the most unique dog lovers I know. She not only cares for them while there owners are away, she integrates them into the center of her life, taking them on adventures, capturing them on film and photograph, hanging out with them like best friends, just as she would if she were their owner. I love witnessing Megan as her heart gushes over and over again by each furry face. She has a weakness for cute cuddly pooch faces. I even invited her to an epic dance event and she responsibly chose her dog sitting duties over a dance party. To top it all off, her captures (photo & video) of these dog friends are usually amazing! Photos that the owner will cherish forever! Your dog definitely wants to be cared for by this fun loving lady!

I love dogs of all shapes and sizes. I was raised with large breeds (Labradors) and can handle even the most intimidating of stature. I love small dogs too! I'm always open to meeting new breeds, and exploring the different personalities in this diverse species.

I generally love all things that dogs love so whatever your pet wants, I am excited to provide it! Hikes, parks, snuggles and lots of attention. I'm still exploring all the parks around Los Angeles, but so far I love Griffith and Kennenth Hahn.
