Meg was the first person, other than family to watch my 8 year old yorkie, I was very nervous about leaving home but, she did an amazing job. She consistently kept me updated me with pictures and text messages throughout his stay. I will definitely be using Rover (Meg) again in the future!

Megan was very responsive when I first requested a booking. I took this as a good sign of communication and informed her that, while I have the Rover account (to which my cell is linked), my husband would be dropping our dog off. Megan understood and exchanged cell numbers with my husband and they agreed to meet in the morning to drop Rigby off. My husband provided care instructions in person and they discussed a time for him to pick up the dog two days later. When it came time to drop off the dog, she did not want my husband to come to her home (perhaps for safety reasons) and instead met him in Centennial Park. I respect the fact that she may not want a man she doesn't know coming to her home, but we also did not get to see where our dog would be spending the weekend. I had, meanwhile, requested photos to be sent to me and I received a message on the second day of no photos saying that her nephew dropped her phone in water and she had been trying to send me photos but her phone wasn't working. Fair enough- she even provided an alternative number. Here is where the real problem started. Sunday (the day of pickup) morning she texts my husband asking when he can pick Rigby up, he replied that 8pm would be ideal. Well, at 6:45pm my husband texted her and asked if we could pick Rigby up at 7:30pm- no response. He decided instead to run errands and pick the dog up at the agreed upon time of 8pm. Meanwhile, I am texting her at her Rover.com assigned number with no response- ever! I sent three messages requesting her to get back to me about when we could pick up our pup and she never responded. I'm not sure if the Rover.com number got disconnected from her phone, but she had messaged me from that number explaining the lack of photos just the day before. 5 minutes before 8pm my husband started to get worried, she had never responded to his texts confirming the 8pm pick up time, both in the morning and again at 6:45pm. He sent the messages to both numbers she had provided and heard nothing back until 8:10. 10 minutes after he was supposed to have the dog! She responded that she was not home and asked if he could pick up the dog tomorrow. We were shocked, we trusted her to care for our pet and she was so casual about when we could get him back . He informed her that the next day was unacceptable and she said that the soonest she could get back home was "around 8:30pm". Well at 8:30pm she texted my husband saying she'd be at the park in "around 5 minutes" and 8:45pm she showed up with the dog. This was, by far, the worst Rover.com experience I've ever had. Every other stay Rigby has been well cared for and I have met his caretake and seen where he would spend the weekend. Megan met my husband in a park and I should have known right then then this was not a right fit. She was unprofessional, unresponsive, and unapologetic. She made no apologies when he finally picked up Rigby. I got NO updates the entire weekend and who even knows where our dog stayed. Based on what happened I cannot recommend Megan to any pet owner.
