Hi! My name is Megan and I’m excited to meet you and your pet! I’ve been lucky enough to have dogs around my entire life - absolutely love spending time with them. I have experience primarily with smaller dogs, though I did work at a Great Dane rescue for a few years where I worked with some horse-sized pups :) I live near uptown and work from home so I’m available anytime to hang out with your pup. A typical day will start with a walk, followed by morning snuggles while I take a few calls - another walk and playtime around lunch, afternoon siesta and bone-chewing time, then a dinner time walk before winding down with some tv and more snuggles. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and bed, and I have a fenced in yard for outside playtime. Would be very happy to work with you on any special requests or special needs your furbaby has - just let me know!

Megan has sat for my 18yr old toy fox terrier on 2 occasions and has been great! She left my house in pristine condition and sent daily messages and pics. Thankful that I was able to enjoy my trip knowing that my little guy was in great hands! :)
Megan is an incredible dog host! She treated Lily with such kindness and care as if she were her own pup. Megan was prompt and clear in all of her communication as well as flexible with my schedule for drop off and pick up. Her updates with pics and videos made me smile, while not being overly intrusive to my time away. I’m very grateful for all of the love, walks and care she gave to Lily. I will definitely rebook with Megan for my next trip.
Megan treated my dog like he was hers. I could not have imagined a better person to look after my dog. I had no worries about him when we were away because I knew that he was having the best time with Megan and her little pooch Daisy. She sent videos and pictures on a regular basis. Knowing my dog, I knew that he was truly happy. When I picked him up, he looked well groomed and so healthy and happy. I know that Megan was the reason. Thank you Megan for everything. Rocky misses you and Daisy a lot!
Oh my goodness! Where should I even begin? Megan is in one word - spectacular! This was my first time leaving my dog and I was quite nervous as she is used to being with me all day. For this reason, I didn't want to leave her at a Doggy hotel where she would be in her kennel for hours a day. She would technically be safe but I knew it would make her sad. Megan indicated she worked from home which would be a better fit. I met up with Megan and Zoey to make sure they would get along and right away, I was put at ease with Megan's comforting nature. She asked all the right questions and her home is super cute, clean and safe. Throughout my trip, I received updates and photos. She will take care of your fur baby like they are her very own. Knowing that my dog was well cared for gave me the comfort I needed to relax and enjoy my time away. I would not hesitate to recommend Megan and Zoey. In fact, I could tell my dog was a little sad when she got home. She missed her new friends but I told her we will definitely make sure she gets to see them again. Thank you Megan and Zoey for being such spectacular hosts and friends to my little Darla.

Let me know your dog’s typical daily schedule - how often they usually like to go for a walk, meal-times, and any preferences, anxieties, etc. My goal is to make sure your furbaby has a great, safe time!
A typical day
A typical day will start with a morning potty break, breakfast (if your pup eats breakfast!) and then a morning walk. A few hours of nap time or playtime while I take morning calls, followed by a lunchtime potty break and walk. Then afternoon snuggles and playtime until dinner, after which we go for an evening walk. One more potty break before bed ensures we are set up for a restful night! Your pup is welcome to sleep in bed with me or in their bed/crate if they are more comfortable.

I’m home full time and have a ton of flexibility in my schedule to ensure I can accommodate your pet’s needs. Typically look to do 2-3 walks a day with added potty breaks and sniff time in the backyard in between.
