Pet care experience
I'm an elementary school teacher in Indianapolis who loves to spend with animals. I live near downtown, right on the cultural trail, so a perfect place to take your dog for a walk. I also have reliable transportation and can come to your house and neighborhood to meet the needs of you pet or pets. I recently adopted a rescue pup, Mac! She’s a 5 year old cuddle bug who can be slow to warm up but loves to play chase in our backyard! After adopting a rescue, I’ve learned how to navigate their quirks and special needs which has made me a better person to care for all types of dogs. As a full-time teacher so I am very organized, reliable and responsible. I live an active life style and enjoy having company on my walks/runs or playing fetch out back. I look forward to looking after your dog next!

Megan was amazing! I left my cat for the first time and Megan was very understanding and sent me lots of pictures and detailed updates. She came in for a meet and greet and was very friendly and gentle with my little! She went above and beyond in taking care of my cat while I was gone and I highly recommend reaching out to her for anyone who’s also a helicopter mom. I will definitely reach out to her again when i am travelling!
Megan was great. She took care of our two cats while we were gone. Provided pictures and updates.
Megan was available pretty last-minute and made sure to send a good update about my dog when she did a drop-in visit!

I have a full fenced back yard. I allow dogs to be on the couch and bed. I have options for dogs to be behind a gate if needed, crated, or free roaming. Whatever your dog is used to and able to handle!

I would like to know what the routine is for feeding your dog, what is your dogs typical schedule, and what (if any) triggers does your dog have (ie men in hats, knocks on the door, etc)
A typical day
On a typical day your dog will receive lots of love and attention while we cuddle to watch TV. We will break up the day by playing chase and fetch in the backyard. There are many toys to play with and bones to chew on!

I work from 9-5 during the week. If your dog is able to crated or left alone safely during that period of time I can provide boarding during the week with a bathroom break after 8 hours after my school day. On the weekends I am free and able to provide more frequent breaks!
