Bringing fun to pets everywhere!
Pet care experience
I’ve had my own pets since I was born- cats, dogs, fish, gerbils and Guinea pigs- and am comfortable caring for all! Starting in middle school, I’d sit for my nextdoor neighbor’s dog, a loveable golden retriever named Kaze. I walked him daily and stayed with him when they’d travel. I quickly became the go-to sitter for other friends and family members throughout the years. In college I had my own first particularly challenging pet, a Jack Russel named Rudy, who opened my eyes to the importance of training and routine with dogs. I’ve spent time with many pups since, each with their own personalities, sizes and listening styles! 😉 I currently live with my partner and our three cats- Toonces, Carmen San Diego, and Harriet- who I treat like royalty. I take more photos of them than I’d like to admit and will probably send you photos of your pet too. They’re all senior ladies, so I have lots of experience with the extra love and attention necessary for feeding and medicating our older friends. I also spend lots of time with Ralph, my dad’s 6 year old dog, practicing his social skills and snuggling. Finally, I appreciate the mess than sometimes comes with pets and know that it’s important to clean up after our animal friends when they do get messy. I look forward to having as much fun with your pet as I know they’ll have with me!
Reviews
Megan is fantastic! We always get updates and photos of our cats along with a cute message update when they are in her care. Megan goes above and beyond to make us feel that our furry friends are right at home even when we aren’t there. Thank you Megan!!
Megan is awesome!! She’s done drop in visits for my cats in a few occasions and is super attentive. She really goes above and beyond to make sure they are well cared for while I’m away!! Definitely recommend booking with her!
Megan is incredible!!! Our cats loved having her around to hang out with and snuggle and the thorough updates made us know they were in great hands while we were away!
Second time hiring Megan. My two shy cats love her. She also watered my plants—so appreciated.

Safety, trust & environment
I believe building trust with you and your pet is the most important thing. This starts with approaching your pet with genuine care. I am an expert at following complex instructions and will want to understand your and their needs in order to tailor my approach. I am unable to host long term stays at my home but do have a large, fully fenced in yard where I am open to hosting your dog for running and playing. There is also an opportunity for play dates in the yard with my family’s sweet 6 year old pup, Ralph, who will perfect if you’re looking to help your dog release some extra energy. I am also comfortable and experienced with crating, and keeping pets separate within the home if needed.
Information Megan P. would like to know about your pet
I like to know what commands, words, or phrases you typically use with your pup, and how well (or not ;) they are usually able to listen and follow. I definitely want to know how your pup usually acts around people and other dogs- and whether there are any stressors or warning signs to look out for. I also want to know their favorite toys, activities, and walking spots, as well as any other quirks they might have!
A typical day
I find so much joy in witnessing a dog experience all their favorite things. If they love to play, I’ll be sure to bring out their favorite toys when I visit. If they prefer to tire themselves out with exercise, I’ll make sure out walks are as exciting as possible! Every pet is a little different and I will do my best to make sure your pet gets just what suits them best!

I do have a full time job but am fully remote- which provides lots of flexibility to work from anywhere and build my own schedule. I really love animals and to be honest, am looking to see if Rover is a viable option to bring some extra joy (and money) into my life. I’d love a regular morning, afternoon, and/or evening walking partner and am also totally open to extended sitting opportunities. I’m quite flexible and also open to last minute requests, especially if they’re in my neighborhood.
