Pet care experience
I am COVID-19 vaccinated(Pfizer) and I had my flu shot. I have been an animal lover as long as I can remember. I have a degree in animal science with special classes taken in companion animals. I've grown up with 7 different dogs in total, and all of them enjoyed a great quality and length of life well into their senior years living between 14-18 years for each. I love walking and running 5ks with my dogs, taken one of my dogs all the way through service dog training, and I understand that for most people their dogs are the best part of coming home and the hardest part about leaving everyday. I'd like to give an owner a sense of relief knowing their best friend is in good hands, and cared for during the day. I love hiking with dogs, giving dogs baths, and even taking them to to dog park if their owner would like for them to attend.

Megan has helped us twice now to check in on our kitties while we’ve been out of town. She has excellent communication and really takes genuine care to make sure our cats are doing well. Highly recommended! :-)

Megan is the best! She gives amazing updates and provides pictures. This is my second time using her and will use her again!

My dogs have a six foot fenced in yard, and at night one sleeps in our bed and the other is crated because he was raised that way and feels safest in there.

I would like to know if they have any food allergies or restrictions, if they are neutered/spayed, do they have any special obedience words I should know, any health or medical needs, favorite toys/treats, and what activities does your dog like to do/allowed to do. Does the owner want any texts/updates through the day?
A typical day
The DuPage County Forest system is incredibly extensive so I love looking for nice shaded trails to hike during the day, as well as engage the dogs in a the senses and smells of nature. I like teaching tricks, playing fetch, and daily brushing and upkeep.

My dogs are my life, and my schedule is incredibly flexible as this is my main priority in taking car of my dogs and others.
