I highly recommend Megan to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate caretaker! My dog, Moon is extremely sweet but it can take her a bit of time to feel trusting of new people. I was looking for someone to get to know her and eventually stay with her while I was on an upcoming international trip. I knew how important it would be to find someone who could gain her trust without rushing her. Megan took the time to stop by for a meet and greet and I instantly felt at ease with her calming and sunny disposition. She came by for a few visits and quickly gained Moon's trust by just sitting with her, talking to her, taking her time and letting Moon come to her on her own. Within a few visits, Moon allowed Megan to put on her leash and take her for a walk! She now greets Megan like her friend, with kisses and a happy, welcoming and wagging tail. Megan is wonderful at communicating. She checks in after each walk to let me know how it went and sends a photo, too. This really is a very big deal for me- because it means I can feel confident in having someone take Moon for afternoon walks and it allows me to travel. I can now travel knowing that I found someone who is trustworthy and really cares. I felt assured that Moon was safe and in good hands while I was out of town. Megan is extremely patient, flexible, intuitive and trustworthy. She cares deeply about animals and is concerned that they feel comfortable in her care. I really struck gold in finding Megan. I appreciate her and I consider her a dear friend to both Moon and me.
