Ask me for my promo code and you’ll save $20 on your first Rover booking! My partner and I have been caring for all kinds of dogs, cats, and even rabbits through Rover since 2022! We love taking the pack out on fun excursions to play frisbee and fetch. On Sundays we have our dogs in a toss + fetch frisbee league from 5-8pm, so please no drop offs or pickups during that time. Our home has been coined the GR Hostel for Hounds! We take great care to make a relaxing, fun, and safe environment for dogs and cats that choose to stay with us. For more content follow on Instagram @GRHostelForHounds I work on positive reinforcement with my dogs, so I always carry a pack of dog treats on me when I take the dogs out of the house and I will do the same with yours.

Megan did an amazing job with our 15 month old Lab who boarded with her for seven days. Megan’s great communication with us, her care for a prior wound, and plenty of exercise gave us great peace of mind. We’ll definitely use Megan when we’re away again.

I want to ensure that all of the dogs I care for have a safe and comfortable stay. We have a wooden fenced in backyard and always monitor when the dogs play. We have baby gates and other methods of ensuring that the dogs don’t get into certain spaces, like the pantry. We have a few crates in our home if dogs need to be crated.

A couple of things I’d like to know about your dog(s) ahead of time: 1) Is your dog friendly with other dogs or reactive? 2) Does your dog have any food allergies? 3) How does your dog do on a leash?
A typical day
Hiking is one of my biggest passions and I enjoy seeing happy dog faces on the trail, so I’d love to take your dog into the woods to see and smell nature. On my walks I always carry treats in a fanny pack to encourage appropriate behavior while having fun. I also enjoy taking dogs to the dog park where they can socialize with other pups. If your dog has a favorite place to go to, I’d be more than happy to take them there!

Availability
I’m currently in grad school and have classes + fieldwork throughout the week Monday-Thursday, but that will be changing over the summer and I’ll have classes Monday-Wednesday (May - June) then I’ll be starting my level II fieldwork full-time (July - December). During my breaks and free time I enjoy taking pups out on walks, hikes, and sniffaris. Occasionally I need help from my partner, Josh, and he’s also verified on Rover. We work together to ensure that all animals receive the best possible care, love, and exercise (both physical and mental).
