Hi! I'm Megan, and I would love to care for your pets! I am available for drop-ins, walks, and the occasional boarding. I work fully remote and I am able to provide services during the day - I can go before work, once during working hours, and after work! I have recently had to move into an apartment, but I am still open to board 1 dog at a time. I know it’s not the same as having a yard to access all day, but we do have a dog park, I take the pups on walks, and I am home all day for company and bathroom breaks! I’ve loved and been around dogs (and all pets!) my whole life! I grew up with dogs and cats, and my mother ran a Chesapeake Bay Retriever dog rescue organization out of our home. I have been taking care of dogs for almost my entire life within and outside of this rescue organization. I have the general experience with caring for dogs, and I also have additional experience with administering medication, including insulin, and some training. I have knowledge, history, experience, and lots of love! I have been around all sizes and breeds and love them all, and I have the most experience with Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, so I do work well with big dogs! My pup, Bandit, LOVES having guests. He gets so lonely when he's alone! I have space for 1 boarder at a time, as I do keep one other pup for doggie day care and every other weekend. I never let dogs play unsupervised, and I do typically remove collars if pups are actively playing for safety reasons. While no one is home the dogs are ideally crated, but are always separated. If the dog is not crate trained, I have a pen I will set up in the kitchen area. I do work from home, so I am able to stay home and provide more attentive care throughout the day. Bandit and I absolutely love having guests over, and I love spending time with your furry family members during drop-ins. I look forward to meeting new clients and new pets!
