Pet care experience
Since I was 5 years old, I have taken care of animals of all sizes as small as a firebellied-toad to a 100+lb elephant seal pup. I have been fortunate enough to share 15 years of my life with my best girl, Kenya, and 11 years with my cuddly pup, Rux. I do my best to make sure all of my animal companions live their best life and have extended everything they’ve taught me to the care I provide. I have experience handling multiple dogs at one time, puppies, dogs with special needs, active dogs, and have a soft spot in my heart for senior dogs. I am well-versed in subcutaneous injections and fluid administration, as well as topical, oral, and eye medications. I cook for my dog, who has medical-related dietary restrictions, so I understand the importance of following any dietary guidelines. I even have experience with physical therapy rehab for dogs with ACL tears.

Megan is the only person I trust to take care of my dog, Tika - 17 lb cocker spaniel mix. She cares deeply about my dog’s well being, and is very thoughtful. I appreciate that Megan is very easy to communicate with during the time she is taking care of Tika. She’s very punctual and follows Tika’s health routine, perfectly. I have a fenced yard and Golden Gate Park is at the end of my block. Ocean Beach is walking distance from my home. Owning a car has allowed me to take dogs on excursions around the city. I am comfortable carrying 50+ pounds, if you have a dog who needs some assistance. I can also provide a dog stroller for special needs dogs, seniors, or dogs recovering from injuries. I have a deep understanding of the commitment of taking care of a dog. It is so important to be able to have someone you can trust who will care for your pup like their own. I currently have a smaller, deaf 11 y/o pup, Rux. She is laid back, loves being outside, and gets along with literally anyone. She has spent her whole life with our dog Kenya, who recently passed, so Rux enjoys the company of other dogs. **For boarding and daycare, I am only accepting dogs who are potty-trained and are not barkers.**

Please let me know with as much detail as possible any specific needs for your dog and any behaviors to note. The more information the better so I can provide the best care that is consistent with their current routine. For boarding and daycare, my preference is a dog with a calm demeanor and a meet and greet ahead of time with my dog Rux is a must.
A typical day
I am a firm believer that a tired dog is a happy dog. Physical stimulation is just as important as mental stimulation. I like to take dogs out to explore places with lots of new smells and different terrain. I can also play with your dog in our yard and let them get out their zoomies.

Availability
I am an active person and work as a personal trainer and am also a full-time student. I have flexible hours and love to be outside. If I am not training or in school (2 days a week), I am home or at either Golden Gate Park or the beach.
