Pet care experience
I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals and their behaviors, and have over 20 years’ professional experience working with animals. From big to small, young to old, I have experience with animals of all kinds. I have experience working with: • Small caged animals (mice, rats, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, bunnies, ferrets) • Birds (parakeets, cockatiels, parrots) • Dogs (big to small, young to old – I have personally owned Chihuahuas, American Pit Bull Terriers, Mini Australian Shepherds, a Mini Dachshund, and a Pug) • Cats & kittens (indoor & outdoor) • Pot-bellied pigs, horses, chickens, cows, and goats. I currently work full time in the medical field (for humans) and am available for pet care on the weekends. I have two pet-friendly children (ages 4 & 9), a dog, a cat, and a horse! Pet care is a family affair! My two sons (ages 4 & 9) join me on many Rover jobs when they are not in school; they love animals and the pets love the extra attention as well. I have had numerous pet sitters over the years and have never had someone as detail-oriented as Megan. Such detail brings peace of mind when you are away from your fur babies. Also, an unusual situation developed with one of my cats and Megan was creative in how to solve it. I will definitely have Megan care for my cats again and recommend her to family and friends.
Meghan did an excellent job playing and walking Freya. We loved the photos.

• Let me know if your pet has any special needs or if I need to keep an eye out for any specific behaviors. • All pets must be comfortable with small children. • I am unable to accept pets that show any form of aggression. • You will be asked to complete a Client Intake Form. This questionnaire is designed so that I can care for each pet individually and to ensure that my pet sitting service remains a safe and enjoyable experience. Please answer each question fully and honestly.
A typical day
I love to stimulate your pets both physically and mentally. Your pets will have a blast playing inside, in your yard, and taking leashed walks around your neighborhood. Drop-In Visits include the length of time you choose for potty breaks and/or play time plus any additional time needed to feed your pets, refresh their water, clean litter boxes, and give them plenty of attention to tide them over until the next visit.

I try to accommodate your pet’s schedule and routine as much as possible. I am available Saturdays and Sundays between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm.
