I felt perfectly comfortable leaving charli with megan and she took care of my baby so well! They went on walks and played in a baby pool, and generally did all the things that charli loves while providing really good care. Charli has a tendency to be nervous but was totally comfortable within 10 minutes of our intial meeting with megan and her dog's. I will definitely be booking megan again!

Megan took good care of our dog Wrigley! When we were gone she sent many pictures and corresponded often. She was an excellent dog sitter! We had to extend her stay and Megan graciously worked with us on this!

We where very hesitant about leaving Boodles with anyone, as we have never left him before. We talked with Megan and became very comfortable with her. Boodles stayed four nights with her, and everything turned out great! Megan sent us pictures everyday of what Boodles did while he stayed with her. Her dogs were nice and were well trained. Awesome experience, will definitely use Megan as our sitter again!!

Plentiful Photo Updates During Stay

Dogs are a HUGE part of my life. As Roger Caras said, "Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole." I work every day to make sure my two rescued mutts get the nutrition, exercise, mental stimulation and love they need to be happy and healthy, and I treat my guest dogs to the same level of care.

I currently work as a dog trainer, and I've worked at an animal ...

What Megan would like to know about your dog

Any dog-social dog is welcome to stay with me. I understand that dog-dog sociability exists on a spectrum, where some dogs love to play with all other dogs, some dogs love to play only with dogs they know, and some dogs, while tolerant of other dogs, would really prefer to snuggle with a person instead.

All new guest dogs are given a careful, multiple step introduction to my dogs, starting with a leashed walk on neutral territory, progressing to off leash interaction in the yard, then supervised in-house chill time.

I've fostered and dog-sat for many dogs, so my dogs are used to new faces, but I treat each new doggy guest like the individual they are, and make sure they're comfortable with the canine companionship during their stay.

When Megan watches your pet

Guest dogs generally follow the same routine as my own dogs: morning potty and play time in the yard, breakfast, naps, walking around the neighborhood, more naps, more playtime in yard, then dinner, snuggling on the couch and off to bed.

Whatever your pets need, I can do. I'm happy to provide plenty of exercise, hand out stuffed kongs, turn on background music - whatever your pet needs to feel relaxed in your absence.
