Pet care experience
I have grown up in a home where furry friends almost out numbered the human ones. I never had more than 4 dogs at my home at a time and they came in varying sizes. I was always taught to treat my furry companions as family and that still hasn't changed. I love caring for dogs and cats alike. In my home now I own 2 rescue animals and have helped work them into loving, open, and well socialized pets. So we would love to make friends and go for long walks with pals around the lake we live near. I am also willing to do any bathing and grooming needs while in my care. Any Medcines need taking! Not an issue. Our Frankie hates taking medicine and if we can trick him then we can get anybody. Also we are fine with helping with any dietary restrictions. Our Frankie has the most sensative stomach in the world. So we are used to all the challenges and are willing to do whatever it takes to make your furry famiy member as comfortable as possible in our presence. To me furry means family and I would love to welcome yours into mine!

This is my second time using Megan. Both kitties were happy and well taken care of!
My two kitties were well taken care of! I received written updates and photos with every visit! Definitely would have Megan watch my kitties again!

I do have a 2 bedroom apartment. It does have an outdoor screened in porch for dogs to sun bath in. I also live within walking distance to a lake and greenway access. So very good for long scenic walks in a calm enivronment. I also have a dog park on sight and serval good dog parks near by if dogs are in need of more socialization. My Frankie is a big lover and can get really excited when meeting new friends for the first time. He will run up to them to sniff them at first but then run away because he gets a little nervous but after a little playing he is very calm and good with making friends. He tends to be pretty submissive to other dogs so we definitely want friends who play well with others. He is also kind of old but he is very patient with younger animals. He just doesn't have very many teeth so we want to make sure our friends are kind to him.

A typical day
We are a traveling family! So we enjoy getting our furry friends out of the house and into the open air. We like walking around the local lake and greenway near the house. Sometimes we enjoy playing fetch outside close to the art musuem or on the centennial state campus. We go out and about to get our energy out and then we enjoy some great R&R with some belly rubs and nap.

Availability
Weekends are best if looking for overnight boarding hours. The dogs just have to be ok with cats being present in the home. As far as dog walking or drop in's go I have a flexible schedule. I am currently a teacher but will be taking a break from teaching to pursue my masters degree. So I will have very opened hours avaible to check in on your friend. Just message me to discuss your needs. I will do my best to accomidate all schedules.
