Pet care experience
My parents had dogs before they had children so I have been around dogs my whole life. We had mostly lab mixes, golden retrievers, and a huskys while I was growing up. I would watch our neighbors and friends dogs all of the time growing up and still do to this day from time to time. Neighbors had dachshunds and German shorthaired pointers. My roommates in college had a Yorkie and a lab mix. And friends have labs and lab mixes. I do have my own dog Moose. He’s a golden retriever. Dogs just make the world a better place In my opinion.

Megan did a great job with our dog while we were away!! He usually doesn't warm up to strangers for a while but he was great with Megan from day 1!!
I highly recommend Megan! From our first meet and greet, it was apparent to me that she had a love of animals. She was prompt to our appointment, calm and gentle with the pets and asked great questions. Megan house sat for us and took care of our three senior pets, two cats and a dog. Our 16 year old dog can be apprehensive with change as he was a rescue dog at the age of 14. It was important for us to keep him comfortably in our home, and Megan took great care and went the extra mile when he had a couple of accidents. She sent us photos and updates while we were gone. We would definitely rebook with Megan in the future.
Megan did a great job watching our 11 week old puppy during the days. She’s flexible with timing, patient, and loves to interact with our dog. We also scheduled her for a weekend with our puppy the next week for a pre-planned vacation. She sent photos and kept us in the loop as the weekend went on. We felt completely at ease knowing she was taking care of him. She kept up with his training and helped us work on his house breaking. We couldn’t have been more pleased and put at ease with Megan’s ability to watch our puppy. She was a great house guest. We look forward to working with her again in the future!
Megan is an exemplary dog companion. Gidget loves her, and I always trust Megan to be professional, friendly and prompt. Megan is also flexible considerate of time. I highly recommend her.

I prefer to watch dogs at your house because I think they are more comfortable there instead of at a strangers home. Having your dog feel comfortable while your gone is the most important thing.

I would want to know the dogs name, what kind they are, how friendly they are with adults, kids, and other dogs/animals, what treats they like, if they have any medical issues I should know about, if they have a diet they need to follow. I grew up with medium (smaller lab about 40 lbs) sized dogs to giant dogs (we also had a lab Great Dane mix that was over 130 lbs) but I love all dogs
A typical day
Love taking dogs on walks to explore new places. Whether it’s the beach, a trail near your house, or just around the block. Love playing fetch or playing with their toys.

I work full time during the week. I usually work 2 days a week from home. Besides that I’m usually around hanging out with Moose.
