Pet care experience
Megan has had cats and dogs as pets since she was born. She has experience with the "gentle-leader" leash and method as well as basic training for dogs. She has experience with senior animal care, and in fact owns her very own senior cat. Her previous animal-sitting/walking experience includes walking and sitting for neighbors since she was 10 (dogs and cats), and working for Wag! for a year.

I highly recommend Megan for any animal care position. She has cared for both dogs and cats her entire life. As a young child she had a Golden Retriever that was very calm and well behaved. Later she helped raise a high energy puppy, even attending training classes at the Humane Society. She walked both dogs. Soon neighbors were asking her to watch their dogs while they were away. Megan is kind and responsible. She cares for every animal as it were her own.
Megan is spectacular with animals. I’ve seen her with cats and dogs, and she has been attentive with both. She cares deeply for animals, so she’s aways excited to work with them and make them happy. She’s patient with shy animals, will play with excited animals. Basically she's attentive to an animal’s needs and dedicated to fulfilling them.

Megan has access to a fenced yard, where dogs can play with supervision. She lives in a two bedroom apartment with two cats and a roommate, but the front part of the house is easily closed off to separate the animals. Additionally, Megan uses a microchip feeder for the one cat that free-feeds, so if your pet is clever enough to open doors, they will not be able to get into the cat food. For jobs that require her to enter your home, she will follow your instructions and pay the utmost respect to your pets and your home.

Let me know if the dog needs medications, or has any fears or behaviors of note. I once walked a dog regularly who went bonkers around public transit; buses, trains, they made her go crazy. I modified the paths I took her on to avoid them.
A typical day
I live near a dog park, and have a fenced in yard. I take larger dogs on 2 walks a day, and smaller dogs on 1 walk a day. If the weather is nice, I would sit in the yard and let them play while I do my work.

Availability
Megan is available for boarding and sitting Friday through Monday, and can provide walks, check-ins, etc MWF and on weekends. She is currently a student at Cal, so her schedule is somewhat flexible.
