Pet care experience
I got my first dog when I was 8, and I've love dogs ever since. I spent 4.5 years fostering dogs so I have a lot of experience with all types of dogs and dog situations. Fostering was hard work but very rewarding. I made sure that all of my dogs found homes that were perfect for them. I currently foster a friend's Bernedoodle long term. I've also volunteered at Washington Animal Rescue League and have gone through all of their training and certifications to care for dogs. I would love to dog sit or walk your dog, too. I'm very laid back and have a calming presence around dogs. And, I would love to have many more dog friends to care for and cuddle with. I can cater the experience to your dog's preferences.

I would like to know your dog's energy level, favorite toy and any quirks. It's always good to know if they're going to chase a squirrel before starting out on a walk. Or anything else of that nature. And, do they like saying hello to the other neighborhood dogs on the walk? Or, should friendly "hello's" be avoided?
A typical day
I get my 10,000+ steps a day. I prefer to do it with a dog. I like long walks and short, frequent walks. I also can play fetch forever, either inside or out, depending on house rules. And, if your dog likes being brushed, I'm your gal. I find it relaxing for both of us to have a good brush session.
