Pet care experience
Hi all! My name is Megan, and I am currently a 3rd year student at IUPUI who LOVES caring for animals. I have 3 dogs myself! The amount of love and care I have for animals led me to start dog-sitting approximately 3 years ago. Since many families enjoy my flexibility and my adoration for their pets, I decided to start up my own small dog-sitting business which is currently still in the process. I always ask for a meet and greet so I can see just how well your dog(s) and I will interact! When I dog-sit, I make sure the dogs I care for are showered with love and their needs are taken care of! If I house-sit for days/ weeks at a time, I typically spend majority of the day with the pups, whether that be lounging around the living room or playing with them at a park, and I am with them all throughout the night. Also, I am used to cleaning up (sweeping, etc.) / doing laundry (cleaning sheets) around the house before the family comes home whenever I stay days/ weeks at a time. Since each family has different needs, I always have one of the family members write a detailed note giving me instructions to follow during my stay. I know some dogs need a little extra attention and/ or exercise throughout the day, and I am that person who will provide your dog(s) with all the attention in the world! I am very happy with Megan as a pet and house sitter. She visited 3 times before the scheduled days, asked pertinate questions and understand dogs. Our dogs did well and she kept in contact with us while we were gone. I reccomend her to everyone and wish her well.

Dear Fellow Dog Lovers: It is such a pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Megan and the service she provides in her business. We have known Megan for eight years now. The first time Megan "met" our Jack Russell Terriers, it was obvious that she had a great affinity and love for animals. She was friendly toward them and they responded in kind. Megan has taken care of our pets on numerous occasions when we traveled cross county for several weeks or simply away for the weekend. She was diligent in feeding them walking them, and making sure they were safe at all times. In addition, Megan always gave us a full report of our pets' care when we returned from our trips. We have also witnessed the care Megan gives to her own two dogs. She walks them to a park several times a day and is highly attuned to their health and nutrition needs. Her two kitties are wonderful as well, one 17 and the other 5 years old. There are not many people in whom we would fully trust to properly care for our dogs in our absence, but Megan is one of them. Megan did an awesome job watching my doggos. She was extremely easy to communicate with, and she went above and beyond to get to know the needs of both of my dogs. She played with the dogs, took them on walks, and let them cuddle with her. She also left my house sparkling clean! I’ll definitely ask Megan to watch my doggos again.
