Pet care experience
Hello! I'm Megan and I can't wait to meet you and your pet. I grew up on a cattle ranch in central Oregon surrounded by animals, so was an "animal-person" from a young age. I recently moved to Hoboken from Houston, TX with my husband and our golden retriever named Parker, (who would be available to play if that is something you and your pet would be interested in!) I appreciate receiving any and all details about your pet, so that I may better provide for them and understand their personality. I became a pet sitter as an avenue to get to know the neighborhood, and its occupants of both the two-legged and four-legged variety :). I prefer to use positive training methods and have found that attention, positivity, and well-timed treats have worked beautifully for my dog. I am available most days/times to meet your pets needs, from drop-ins, walking, feeding, boarding, or just to chat :) Looking forward to getting to know you and your animal.

Nash loved his stay with Megan & Duncan! During his stay his allergies were acting up, and Megan kept us posted the entire time and administered oral medication as needed! She sent lots of photos as well to always keep us in the loop! Nash also seemed to enjoy having a doggy playmate for a few days with their dog Parker! Great experience!

We have two dog runs in our apartment complex and several dog parks nearby. My dog, Parker, loves playing with new companions and she is great with dogs of all ages and sizes (super chilled out golden retriever, basically loves attention from anything lol)

Information Megan M. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know what your pet's usual routine is, in an effort to accommodate in the same way and ease the transition to make them more comfortable. Do they have any special requirements or dietary restrictions? What games do they enjoy? What commands do you use? Any triggers or hidden dangers I should take care to avoid? I have no breed preferences, but would like to avoid aggressive dog personalities (especially for boarding) as my dog is very friendly/submissive. I can take only vaccinated and potty trained pets.
A typical day
Living in close proximity with Several dog parks, we like to take walks morning and evening to get some park time in. My apartment complex has a fenced dog run area, and close proximity to several walking paths. If your dog is the more chilled-out variety, we have a shady courtyard area where they can be outside and chill out.

Both my husband and myself work from home, so we take the dogs for several walks per day. Available for boarding any day of the week!
