Pet care experience
I have been living with dogs all of my life. I connect well with all animals, but by far and large, my favorite animals to be with have always been dogs. I understand doggy-language, if you will, and I am prompt to respond and cater to their needs. I have experience working with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments, including dog breeds that many shy away from due to unfair stigmatization and a lack of accurate information. I have been the proud dog "owner," (I like to think of myself and my dogs as family, not as one being "owned," by the other) of several Rottweilers and pit bulls over the years. I have also been fortunate to call terriers, beagles, dalmatians, shepards, and the best breed of all - mutts!, as members of my family. I have cared for a pregnant dog for the duration of her pregnancy and raised and bottle fed my puppy from one day old through adulthood. I am comfortable around all dogs, including senior dogs, special needs, and puppies. I take the responsibility of caring for your animal very seriously. The safety and comfort of your dog are of the utmost importance to me. I vow to care for your dog as if he or she were my very own.

I would love to have as much information about your furry family member as possible! -Favorite treats, activities, games, and toys -Temperament (Does your pet get along with other animals and people and/or children?) -Personality quirks -Training (Does your pet know how to sit, stay, come, roll over, shake hands, etc.) -Any pertinent medical conditions, allergies, dietary restrictions, or medication needs -Anything that may frighten your pet or cause anxiety (i.e. loud sounds, places with a lot of activity going on, people, or other dogs, etc.) -Any useful information that you think that I should be aware of in order to facilitate in providing the best possible care for your canine loved one
A typical day
Dog Walking: Your dog(s) and I will enjoy local walks around your neighborhood or nearby parks and outdoor areas. We can also head to an area where we can play per your request and approval. Drop-In Visits: I will check on your dog(s), let them out to go potty and get some fresh outdoor air, feed/water, as well as play with your pooch to keep him/her happy and stimulated. I am also willing to pick up mail, water plants, feed/water any other critters and pets (including horses), etc., if needed. (Please note that I cannot care for cats as I am severely allergic.) Please review your experience booking with me! I openly welcome any comments, praise, and constructive criticism that will enable me to provide my clients with the best service possible.
