Pet care experience
My dog means more to me than anything in the world. And I'm assuming your feel the same way about your dog too. I have watched after and cared for my dog as well others within my home town of Tennessee. Now I'm looking for the same work in and around D.C. I have cared for small and large dogs and can provide them with the same love as I do for my own pet.

Megan stayed with my beagle Kallie for over a week. During that time she not only took great care of my dog but my home as well. I came home to a happy, healthy, well exercised puppy and a spotless house that was much appreciated after long travel. I would highly recommend Megan, and I look forward to having her back again soon!
Megan was very nice to my dog. My dog looked happy after stayed with Megan. Megan was also very flexible and easy to work with when we had to do early drop off and late pick up. Great experience!
Megan is so wonderful with our dog, who is now almost 12. She has been with us for years and has always treated him so well. She is a hugely caring, compassionate, punctual and intelligent young lady. Any family would be lucky to have her looking after their pet(s). She will sit with our dog even after she has walked him, petting him and playing with him. I get the sense that she enjoys him almost as much as he enjoys her! I highly recommend her.

Before sitting a dog, I would appreciate knowing any special things the owner would like for me to do with their dog. I would also like to know how their dog interacts with strangers and children so as to ensure everyones' safety and fun. I'm very patient and enjoy taking care of older dogs but also am very active and can take care of high energy dogs with ease. I have no breed preference.
A typical day
I would love to take the dogs I care for on a walk to the park. There, we can play together and allow the dog(s) to get some much needed exercise! I love playing with dogs whether it be tug-of-war, throwing a ball, or a good game of chase. For older dogs, I enjoy taking them for a leisurely walk with lots of tummy scratching afterwards!
