Information Megan M. would like to know about your pet
I like to know the daily routine of the animal before I begin pet sitting. Please leave and/or discuss any medical history or anxiety your pet has experienced with change in the past. This not only makes the time easier for the pet, but the owner(s) also know what to expect from me for each day.
A typical day
It's important for me to know your pets' typical routine so that they can be as comfortable as possible while in my care. Some pet parents prefer if I spend the day at their house (house sitting service), while others would like me to simply feed and take/let the dog out and inside (drop-in visit service). I am available for walks, playtime, and even trips to the local trails for our more high-energy friends. Every animal is unique with different preferences and needs; that's why it's crucial we discuss your pets' needs before the booking begins. I've found keeping the routine as similar as possible keeps your pets happy and healthy! I am willing to do some basic tasks around the house in addition to pet sitting. These may include watering plants, collecting mail and packages, and basic pool maintenance.

Experienced Pet + Farm Sitter!
Pet care experience
After graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Animal Science, I began working in the pet care industry. I've worked with animals for over 20 years, have learned basic training techniques, been a pet/farm sitter for several families, and am comfortable with a variety of breeds (and sizes + ages). 🥾🐾SPECIAL SERVICE🐾🥾 Do you want your pup to have a bit more excitement than just the normal neighborhood walk? Let me know, and we can arrange for a local hike! Heading on vacation? Have a long work day? Need a dog walker? Let's chat and see if we'll be a good fit! If you're a new client, I'd love to set up a time to meet prior to booking. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and your four-legged friend(s)! __________ Why do I love pet sitting? I've been a dog-lover my entire life. I grew up with cats, and decided that for my 16th birthday I wanted a dog instead of a car. I grew up volunteering at the local CSRA Humane Society - from dog walking to helping the vet tech there, my love for animals grew. It’s where I adopted my first dogs, Lorraine and MJ. It's my passion for animals that then led me to study Animal Science in college, and through my studies, I gained valuable experience with a variety of species. I am happy to watch your dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, reptiles, and the like! Do I have experience administering medication? Yes; I have spent several years working alongside a vet tech, and have become comfortable administering a variety of medications and treatments.
Reviews

We are so thankful to have found Megan. She sent us daily updates and photos, and our house doesn’t even look like anyone was ever here! Exactly how we left it. The pups seemed so much happier and so well loved when we came home vs when we pick them up from the kennel. I have so much more peace of mind when they are at our home with Megan while we are out of town! It eased the anxiety of leaving our puppy alone for the first time SO much!

I am so thankful for Megan. This was a last minute trip for us and we didn't have a lot of time for meet & greet. But after meeting, I felt very comfortable leaving her at my home and with my 3 babies. They all seemed to be very content and happy when I returned (although she didn't see one of them much of the time). Megan is dependable and completely trustworthy. We will definitely use her again.

Megan has stayed with our pooches numerous times. The best way to sum up how wonderful she is is to say the dogs are a little down and look for her at our gate for a few days after we return!

Wonderful experience with Megan! She brings peace of mind, our dog loves her, she is professional and communicative!
