Anyone who knows me knows I'm a HUGE dog lover! I am very passionate about animals, especially dogs. Growing up there was never a time we didn't have at least one dog in the house. And as soon as I was old enough to get a job, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I worked at an animal hospital for several years until I moved to Lubbock for school. As a kennel assistant, I was responsible for feeding the dogs, making sure they all had clean kennels, walking them 3 times a day, and many other daily duties. I was trained for different emergency situations such as how to give CPR to dogs or how to handle if a dog eats something they should not have. I learned skills such as administering medication, caring for elderly dogs with medical conditions, and controlling the pups with behavioral issues. I later got a part time job at a boarding facility and was walking dogs in my neighborhood in my spare time. This will be my 8th year as a pet sitter and I absolutely love it! I graduated from Texas Tech in May of 2017 and worked an office job while pet sitting on the side. For the past 2 years I have done pet sitting full time and decided to make it my main focus since it is what I love doing the most! I live in a small home with my Australian Shepherd Cody and my 2 cats Tommy and Sully, so it can be challenging adding more to the madness. It is best for me to care for your pet in the comfort of their own homes. My goal is to make you and your pets as comfortable and happy as possible while you are apart. I completely understand how hard it can be to have to leave them, they are not just animals - they are part of the family. It is my job to help relieve some of that stress and anxiety by giving you the peace of mind knowing your babies are in great hands!
