Stress Free Animal Care!

Pet care experience

UPDATE: Due to COVID-19, I have temporarily shut down all services. Unfortunately, I will also be moving out-of-state at the end of July 2020 and will not be reopening my reservation requests. Hi there! I'm an experienced dog trainer with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science & Behavior. I have fostered all different breeds, sizes, and temperaments of dogs and cats over the years and have loved every minute of it. I have many years of experience working at boarding facilities and doggie daycares as well, and I know that in-home care is often the least stressful option for both you and your pet. I know exactly how to use scientifically-based positive handling and training methods to provide a stress free environment for your pet while you're away from home. If you need help maintaining or practicing basic behaviors from your obedience class (or even identifying how to fix problem behaviors), just let me know and I'll incorporate that into my time with your pooch or kitty. I will treat your pets as if they are my own while you're away. If you are a new client, please send your request as early in advance as possible. Please Note: Drop off/pick up on Mondays is only available from 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM between the dates of January 22 - May 12. Please make sure to schedule your reservation dates accordingly. Thank you!

We love Megan! She treats our pets like her own and makes sure she gives them what they need during their time with her. We always know they’re in good hands!

Megan was awesome with my puppy! I got consistent updates each day were gone, and she promptly responded if we had any questions while we were gone

I have no words to explain my gratitude for Megan! My situation was complicated to say the least, I’m located in CA my father and his dog are in CO. When I found out he was incapacitated in the ICU I was overwhelmed with worry for him and his beloved best friend. Not knowing what to do I started looking online found the Rover site and Megan was my first click. She helped with picking up my fathers dog, keeping her safe, comfortable and stable, giving me the ability to focus on my fathers health. I am eternally grateful for this site and Megan. Both a true blessing!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TAKING CARE OF MY FATHERS BEST FRIEND AS IF SHE WERE YOUR OWN!!

Information Megan L. would like to know about your pet

Has your dog has ever bitten another dog or person? If so, what were the general circumstances were surrounding the incident? Does your dog have any phobias (loud noises, tall men, bicycles, etc.) that I should try to avoid? Does your dog have any allergies?

A typical day

Depending on your dog's activity level, we can play fetch or tug, go for a walk around the neighborhood, and/or hit a hiking trail. If your dog doesn't know how to fetch and you'd like him or her to learn, I can do training to teach. I can provide mental exercise as well with various nose-work puzzles and training games.
