In these uncertain times, leaving your pet with a stranger is one more stress you don’t need. Reliable and high quality care is what I strive to provide for you and your pet, giving you peace of mind while you are away. I will care for them as if they were my own. I practice safe handling and safe distances while walking your dog because keeping them safe and happy is my number one priority. Your pet will be less stressed in the comfort of their own home rather than in a boarding facility and will enjoy quality one-on-one time with me as I see to their needs. I've grown up with dogs, cats, horses, and all kinds of reptiles and birds. Animals are my passion. From horse training to zookeeping and working with many exotic species, there are few animals I have not cared for in my life and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills with others. Since becoming a stay-at-home mom, dog sitting and pet care has become a natural path for me. In addition to dog and cat care, I offer my services for those with animals that are a little less "mainstream" than dogs and cats, such as any kind of non-venomous reptile, horses, and birds. Going out of town but no one will watch your lizards and snakes? I'm your girl. Have a few horses but no one with experience enough to care for them while you're gone? I've got 15 years of competitive riding, training and breeding under my belt. You can trust me to properly care for your hooved babies. I've worked for vets, zoos, ranches and museums and currently keep my own menagerie at home (3 dogs, 9 rabbits, 2 budgies, 1 tortoise, and a LOT of geckos) so there is little I haven't seen. I can administer medicine and wrap bandages if needed. Due to a change in life circumstances I no longer accept daycare and boarding clients, but I am happy to drop-in and check on your pets or walk your pups. We can chat over the phone or via video conference on Rover to see if I’m the right fit for your needs. Keeping your furry and scaly friends happy, healthy and clean is a high priority to me. I try to remain flexible for my clients and will schedule visits/walks for the top of each hour. Though I’m not boarding at this time, my yard is securely fenced and we have a doggy door. I do not allow any dog, mine or a client’s, to run free in a non-enclosed area, like the front yard. We utilize baby gates to block doors if needed.
