I sincerely appreciate Megan's care for my sister's cat. She is a wonderful person of high integrity. I would most definitely reccomend Megan to anyone and will schedule with her again.
Megan was absolutely fantastic with my two cats and ferret. I loved getting daily photos and extensive information about their well being. Will definitely book Megan again when I leave town for work.
Megan did such a great job watching my dog! She was extremely helpful and detailed, and you can tell she really loves animals! I will DEFINITELY DEFINITELY DEFINITELY be using Megan again to watch my dog, anytime I’m in the area (or even close! She did so great!).
Mama to all things furry and scaly
I've grown up with dogs, cats and all kinds of reptiles and birds. I have always enjoyed spending time with animals and I now raise my children with various species and help others with their animal's care and feeding. From ranch work with horses to zoo work with many different exotics species, there are few animals I have not cared for in my life. What Megan would like to know about your dog
I need to know the overall temperament of the dog before it stays at my house. The more detail a client can give me about their dog the better. :-) My first questions to potential clients are: Does it like children? Does it get along with other dogs? and How high is its prey drive? I have young children at my house, several of my own dogs, two cats and a rabbit. It is essential that a boarder get along with everyone so we can all have a safe and fun time while they stay with us. A very high prey drive will mean that drop-ins or house-sitting are a better fit than boarding at my house. If a dog is a recent addition to a client's family and little is known about it's background (like a recent rescued dog) it may be that drop-ins/house-sitting will be a better option. Most of these questions can be covered during a meet n greet as well.
Other than those first questions, when a dog comes to stay with me I'll need basic information about its feeding schedule, sleeping preferences and any medications they may be on. I want my clients to feel at ease when they leave their furbabies in my care so am happy to answer any questions at any time. I'm a dog lover too and want the best for them.
