First of all, I would never book another pet sitter again through any franchise without meeting the sitter or come highly recommended. Although this franchise had all the intention and ease of booking, I would never use a service like this again unless we ded a meet and greet. Our sitter was very prompt and responsed at a timely matter but after handing over my dog, I was very nervous with my very first impression with her. She was very timid, quiet and not asked any questions of my dog...just wanted me to hand her my pet and leave. When I tried striking up a conversation, she didnt convesre much. Right away I ws nervous but gave Megan a chance as I had to attend my daughter's school meeting. After a couple of hours, I texted her but no reply. I texted again a hour later, no reply and called but now answer or reply to VM. I panicked and left my school meeting to rush over to her apartment where my husband and I rang her door bell, no reply. I started ringing all the doorbells in the building until I saw a glass door and knocked on it to find a samll barking dog and then my Golden came up barking as well. We ran to find an unlocked door to rescue my dog and left. The room Megsan left the dogs in was a mulitpurpose room unattended, unloceked, hot and no water by the time I found time in this apartment/commercial building. I was so disappointed but was able to rescue my dog. This service that Rover represent we discovered is totally untrustworthy!!! There needs to do more background check, enlisting anyone loving pets is NOT a requirement! It is why my local dog walker has WARNED me about frsnchises like you. Sorry, You guys ge a major THUMBS DOWN!!!
