Pet care experience
We have been living in DC for 9 years and have a small house with a fenced yard near several dog friendly parks. We love dogs and have had our older miniature schnauzer for 11 years. She's a big fan of netflix and chill but she's willing to share some space on the couch. We also have a mini schnauzer puppy and he is very rambunctious. We are happy to take your dog on walks around the neighborhood and to nearby parks. Mostly available on weekends and the occasional workday. We are available for before and after work/overnight pet sitting at your place as well. We are fine with giving oral medicine and have cared for elderly dogs in the past.

Their abilities to follow instructions, be consistent and caring and even better, their efforts to actually try and "bond" with our cats - especially the skittish one - are SO very much appreciated and we're so comfortable with them taking care of our kitties when we're away! This was the longest we have left our girls. Megan and Kirby take such great care of them, that it took away any stress over being gone for 9 days. They are the best!!
We always check Megan and Kirby's availability FIRST for our cat-sitting needs due to our past experience with them, the fact they follow our extensive instructions and the peace of mind we always have knowing they are checking in on our two cats when we are away. We hope they continue to be part of Rover so we can continue to use them in the future - they are just GREAT!
Megan & Kirby are great! Our cats love them! When we have to go out of town, we are stress free because we know the girls are in good hands.

Can take your dog on a walk or the dog park if there’s one in walking distance. Happy to play fetch at home as well.
